This is an awesome movie. It basically involves a time and place in the late seventies where disco and roller skating have basically taken over the world. The beautiful Linda Blair plays the heroine. She is an heiress who is a musical genius.
"I'm a musical genius! What a drag! What a bummer!"
She decides what she really wants to do is win a roller boogie contest. And to her this is more important than anything, including her music career. She recruits a young dufus that is a rollerskating genius. The dufus is best friends with 'Phones' who is sidekick. The Dufus and Phones are trying to take over the boardwalk and colonize it with roller rinks or something.
Linda Blair and the dufus fall in love but the dufus is so dumb he keeps messing things up. That is really about it. That is the whole movie. There is some cool disco music and some cool roller-disco dance moves. Besides the music the only reason I can think of for watching this is to watch that goddess Linda Blair.
I was at Wal-mart with my brother a couple days ago and I saw a hot girl that looked a lot like Linda Blair except she looked like a cow-girl. My brother insists he was Russian. So she was basically a Russian cow-girl Linda Blair look alike. I usually am not afraid to talk to girls but this girl made me too nervous to talk to.
